Arches NP is mostly suited to road biking as there
is no mountain bike trail riding in the park. However,
the Salt Valley and Willow Springs roads are off
the beaten path and less traveled and are more suited
for mountain bikes because of their dirt surface
and deep sand.
Riding a bicycle is really a scenic way to enjoy
the park, just keep in mind that there are no bike
lanes and traffic can be heavy during the summer
vacation months.
Please keep an eye out for motorists and make sure
they see you and ride in a single file line at the
edge of the road. The park's Scenic Drive is a great
start for your road cycling adventure.
